If you are a new or existing patient with questions, please contact our office! You can read answers to commonly asked questions about dental care and our office here:

What should I bring to my first dental appointment?

At your first dental appointments, bring your completed new patient forms. You may also bring your dental insurance information. Before your visit, contact our office, and we will let you know if we need your medical or dental records from another office.

What is the proper way to brush and floss?

Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush your teeth gently. If you have a manual toothbrush, brush it in a circular motion. Begin on the outside of the teeth, move to the chewing surfaces, and then brush the back of the teeth. Take about 18 inches of floss when flossing and loop the ends around your index fingers.

Can I visit the dentist if I’m pregnant?

We recommend that pregnant patients visit the dentist because pregnant women can be more at risk of developing problems like gingivitis and dental cavities. Routine dental care in our office is a great way to minimize plaque and tartar. Most dental treatments are safe for our pregnant patients, especially routine cleanings.

Why do I have tooth pain?

Tooth pain can have many causes, from a dental injury to cavities to a tooth abscess. Patients can call our office for an appointment so we can examine their smiles and help determine the root cause of their pain. We will also typically take dental x-rays if the cause of pain is not visible to the naked eye. Additionally, we welcome patients to tell us any other symptoms or which area of their mouth is affected by pain so we can pinpoint the cause.
